Everything

My parents crossed a sea
to see their children grow
up, away, closer
to dreams they never saw
possible.

Their son sees
although with myopia
that everything is possible
in this life where they’ve given
everything.

What a waste then it would be
to not dream
as big and as far
as the stars we look up to
for I am and you are

Everything is a lot
nowhere is it not
for when meaning can be found in
everything
