117 days since i wrote
what i have felt
what have i felt?
has love been dealt?

love for my brothers,
for this world and the life i lead
yet have i found it for myself
or is that a conversation i leave on the shelf?

to reflect and notice
what i neglect
is there pain in looking in the mirror
or gain in seeing clearer?

the future grows nearer.
my muscles grow
but has my mind?
a piece of mine for peace of mind.

does this appeal to the viewer?
would they rather see my victory
or the imperfect mystery of what i am
supposed to become?
