life’s too short to wait.
it’s too long not to.
forever is far too long
how about for now?

history in the making
shall we make it?
write our story?
a face to be forgotten?

memories begotten?
a heart to find saught in?
nothing or something?
love’s got a little ring to it.

just like the wedlock
got the mind in a headlock.
that’s too far ahead
let’s see it for what it is instead.
